nice. you're gonna love the eco drive...just no long drawer or in dark storage time and you'll be good.
Thanks Jesse!! I will keep that info in mind.nice. you're gonna love the eco drive...just no long drawer or in dark storage time and you'll be good.
if they are full solar charge, they keep power for about 6 months in the dark.......but I've found keeping them in daylight and even just room light the battery lasts longer and doesnt seem to fail. not counting night time of course. I got one thats about 20 years old now and still runs. I keep my eco drives in a glass top watch box under a skylight so they get exposure during daylight hours. Thanks Jesse!! I will keep that info in mind.Learn something new everyday!! I think I am going to like this watch!!

Same here. Stored in a glass topped watch box, sitting on a shelf near window but with the blinds closed all the time, and only one died in the past 10 years. That was due to a defective capacitor that was replaced for about $100 parts and labor. This out of about 12 solar watches that are flawless.if they are full solar charge, they keep power for about 6 months in the dark.......but I've found keeping them in daylight and even just room light the battery lasts longer and doesnt seem to fail. not counting night time of course. Well, I just noticed that my Seiko Astron GPS Solar Chronograph is showing the date is one day later than the real date, even after syncing with GPS satellites that get the time right down to the second. And the time zone is set correctly, not that it would matter because anything I'd do to the timezone to get the date to go back a day would then show the wrong time. I'll need to find the manual or use Google.Same here. Another Citizen fan here. I have three that are each more than 20 years old and still going strong. Great, reliable watches! Just, as was pointed out, don't keep 'em in a drawer.if they are full solar charge, they keep power for about 6 months in the dark.......but I've found keeping them in daylight and even just room light the battery lasts longer and doesnt seem to fail. not counting night time of course.
