What watch do you wear?

How are the modern Vostok's? Got a few vintage USSR ones that work well but not super accurate.

Great Pelagios too, been really close to picking one up several times.

better than the older ones I got. on wrist pretty darn accurate within few seconds a day. sitting dial up for a day tend to run about 10 to 15 or so seconds a day fast. still pretty good time for low dollars.

That’s cool!! 👍
John 😁
thanks John. reissue of the chronosport sea quartz 30....which is a weird name as its actually a 300m dive watch. it's notoriety came from navy seals wearing it in the 70s and 80s due to being one of the first affordable analog quartz actual dive watches available back then. also, magnum pi wore one first 2 seasons of the show....which was fitting as he was supposed to be a retired seal and they did wear these back then. later he switched rolex gmt master...which is what most folks remember him wearing that watched the show.....

anyways it's a close remake visually.....

Not your watch but from the same watch litter.

"Sterile" Chinese watch and I don't remember who I bought it from. Looks like an homage to something but I forgot what. It hand winds, hacks, and keeps time like a Seiko N35, so I must have bought it in 2019. Seiko builds these movements in Malaysia and COVID-19 closed their factory for over a year.

I do remember why I bought it. Great bracelet!

I love it on a bracelet. That's a homage to the German pilot watches called Fliegers. IIRC Laco, Stowa and another company were the original manufacturers for the German military and still manufacture them. Lots of other companies have made them in recent years. I like that style because it is very clean and legible but very few manufacturers sell it with a bracelet or proportion the case where it would work on an aftermarket bracelet. I've owned at least 4 different Flieger homages but don't currently own one.

Cruising around the farm in my old beater, and shooting a few dozen doves along the way. Pretty good eating and a great way to relax.

This old Spanish shotgun was given to me by an old friend, and has not been used in 20 years. Cleaned her up and it did just fine.
