What watch do you wear?

Had to send my DS-1 to warranty service because the date started acting up. Back to old faithful diver! When I’m get the DS-1 back I’ll put it to sale. Healthy reminder that nothing fancy will last in my use. Need some funds for move anyway.

It's cool as long as you're not paying flipper prices. The Swatch stores are pretty stocked with them. The lume is not really stunning on mine.

If i was getting another one and lived near a store I think I'd wait for the blue moon releases and find one of those I liked.

Some people have remarked they are very fragile and had the pushers break off.

The 'blue generation', or whatever, with watch dials, design, et al., is spot on. I love it. (Mine is blue...being serviced.)

Goes with anything at any level. It draws the eye, highlights the design(who can't pick out a Daytona at 30 feet, right?), without being pretentious or overbearing.

Our friend here...the blue band to match (beach or active stuff) is perfect...and functional. Switch to the metal band and head to your favorite upscale entertainment.

Apologies for the length (thinking out loud). I am a watch nerd as much, or more, as i am a knife nerd. Useful tools/art, both.

I wandered through a Swatch store and glanced at the OS planets series available. My thought was 'too much for that.' Odd colors...i don't recall any with complications.

I didn't look close and they, absolutely, did not have the Moon SO. It would've prompted a pause or second look.

That's a good looking watch!

['Some people' may not be aware, no matter the watch, always take it off your arm to adjust or wind it, is one of those cardinal rule things. Pushers breaking is different. That's an issue...especially with the name Omega on it. I would not expect that, at any price point. I've never heard or read of that happening on any watch.)

Same here! Tag, though. I was/am amazed at how rugged luxury tool watches are! Cannot be destroyed, in my experience.

My wife said 'i want you to wear it everyday', in the context of it being very expensive (for me, at least.) So it spent a little over two years on the job (cot jockey, here) with me. I 'fok smashed' it (if you know you know) in everykind of way you could think...torture test level use. There one light mark (if held just right with the light) on the ceramic bezel with the crystal still flawless...as new!

Now the stainless band....it shows some wear. Ha

to me too pricey for what ya get. it's still all swatch and at a premium for even them. I'm also not a fan of the case material. lots of complaints when it came out bleeding color and easy cracking. hope they fixed that by now. just not for me, but if I was it would be the moon one.

Think I am going to pass always wanted a Speed master but I guess it was just not meant to be .

well it's closest thing visually to one and with omega on the dial. the mission to moon one that looks like a speed master is the one I'd grab if I grabbed one. so maybe worth it to you.....think about it...my dislike ain't gonna be yours necessarily.......
