What watch do you wear?

After that little meltdown...you tube for the win, likely, on to G shocks.
The easy, easy answer to my query:

T=3600/t

Plug 'em in numbers you have, solve for the unknown

T is speed/over time (works for mph/kph/all measures)

3600 is seconds in an hour

t is start, stop, reading at bezel.

Casio for the win. The algebra of it solves for T: quick (constant) speed.

In terms of speed, distance, time or efficiency, specific (or average): a rudimentary, but accurate, measurement (stand alone of relative.) plProgress or decline, at a glance. Quick read. Perfect for racing stuff.

Seiko automatic with open case back is a whole lot more watch for the money. Great reco.

Just grab the Moonswatch.
1. Swiss. 'Watches just are.'
2. It's the one you like.

I just looked at the pricing. I dont know what i think. VERY competetive, being a labelled Omega collaboration. On the other hand, it does seem high for a fad. (Swatch stuff.)

In favor of the Swiss.

I was a little off, in another post. The Moonswatch has a Swiss quartz ETA movement. My Tags have automatic ETA movements. Same, cept differebt
Oh yeah i have a Moonswatch, it's pretty fun and feels like a typical Swatch. I do like them. No one should be paying the flipper prices on them. I do fault Swatch for not making them available online. Not everyone lives near an official Swatch store.

I did just get the new strap for it. I was OK with the old one but this has more pop now.

Is it one of a hundred?!
This Citizen AQ6020-53x is 1 of 200 pcs made.
Is this the new generation static generator thing or Eco?
I will give you a bit of a longer response..

Horology, as it applies to watches, is often referred to as "the art of making mechanical watches". On the other hand, coming from "horology" dictionary definition, it is the science of measuring the time and the result of this is an instrument for measuring the time. Obviously, the more accurate this instrument is the more it should be referred to as a "high horology". Can we agree? :)

Lett me please make a case for the HAQ Citizen 0100 movement and AQ60xx LE models being a high horology. Let us take a look at a few aspects of what one would expect from a high horology watch.

1. Accuracy

There should be no doubt that Citizen 0100 movement being the most accurate self-contained watch in the World with +/- 1 sec per year is truly an instrument developed with the science of measuring the time. And if you set up a goal of +/- 1 SPY accuracy you'd dismiss mechanical movements from the get go, as simply no mechanical movement can possibly touch this precision. This is not to say that developing a quartz watch which would be that accurate was an easy task. There are many enemies to the watch precision of even the best of the best quartz movements like temperature changes, gravity, mechanical shocks etc. to name a few. And this Citizen movement design targeted them all with AT-cut crystal which vibrates at 8.4 MHz frequency and smart position management and shock reaction control. That means that if you set the watch accurately today it will still be within a minute accurate in 59 years from now. More than enough for me :-)

2. Manufacturing quality (from building a watch to final quality assurance)

The watch has in-house movement which is INDIVIDUALLY calibrated to meet the accuracy specifications for every particular watch and tested. Mechanically the movement uses backlash suppression mechanism and high-precision LIGA process for all gearing. The electronics is no less amazing and provides smart algorithms to keep the watch precision as committed by specs while utilizing solar panel and the battery which is not required to be replaced.

3. Beauty
Which is in the eye of the beholder... and to me the Citizen AQ60xx design is extraordinary with it's simplicity and artistic features to communicate what this watch truly is.
Beyond design, the execution of the watch mechanism, the case and the bracelet is as good as any other watch on the market even in 10X of this Citizen price bracket.
For the movement, if we agree that the quartz movement can be an art, it is at the level of best mechanical movements out there and as much as I like my APRO ref. 25594ST
with rhodium-plated caliber 2324/2825 with engine-turned "Grande Tapisserie" and "Cotes de Geneve" decorative embellishment constructed with a shock absorber mechanism, 38 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance as well as a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a 21K gold rotor segment and adjusted in 6 positions (Plus a module on top for day/date/moonphase complications resulted in 45 jewels total)

I am in love with this one too :-)

All the machining and finishing of the case and the bracelet is exemplary as well. Just take a look

Using the tachymeter is fairly obvious...start stop that's speed of the object. I have been told, simply, 'measure point to point' (with whatever you want to get a speed on, with a watch.) That can't be right, time is the non-variable, that CHANGES the speed, OVER A FIXED DISTANCE. Speed bezel measured same on all watches...right?
The tachymeter bezel has a special function. You time the duration of an event, any event you like, with the stopwatch hand and the bezel will indicate how many of those events could occur per hour. So if you time your car over a one mile distance, the bezel will indicate speed in miles per hour. If you time how long it takes to cook a pancake, the bezel will tell you how many pancakes you can make in an hour. Well the limit is the thing you are timing has to last less than 60 seconds meaning the car would have to be going faster than 60 mph or the pancake has to be a real fast cooking pancake.

Minimum 60...good note. I did not align that point yet

After reading and watching everything about the most accurate watch (it took a minute, looking everything up) before sending out my usual volumes of nonsense....
(I'll do my best to be succinct.)

Flag on the play!

maybe

BALK!

The titanium Daytona, at the end of 'my dad was a conductor', was a legit bomb. Then, you teaching about the most accurate watch in existence, making a case, almost daring the reader to disagree. First pic 'Royal Oak!,' maybe THE most iconic designs none of us will never even see: folks, this thread just went nuclear.

I'll admit it. You got me. Whole hearted 'YES' - maybe i should rethink some things. I'm a superficial snot. Lets see what this is about. I agreed before you made the case, even referencing google.

WELL DONE.

This has the exact same feel of being a rookie in the fire house. A set up to learn from...somehow. RO AP owner (with ruby count more inline with the Wizard of Oz than a watch.) singing the praises of the Timex he loves.

I'm just gonna wait for the lesson, while i wander off on Xray lithography and the way Ferrari, LV, and ROLEX just damn do what they want (in creating the mythological status of their product) ongoing...known to owners and those who look...doesnt matter ..we all still want one!

Thank you for sharing both of your watches, both very cool.

Does this count? My galaxy watch 3 with the Frank Muller crazy hour face. I have quite few pricey swiss and german autos by well regarded makers but i cant stop wearing this stupid smart watch since the available, free faces are so cool and i get my calls and text alerts on the watch while im working and have my hands full ;)
