I was looking at the Seamaster at the Omega boutique inside the Bellagio and decided I must have one.

The lady there was a sweetheart as well. She knew damn well I couldn't afford anything but still took the time to show me the different models and even allowed me to try a couple on. Even when I told her I'd just be wasting her time, she insisted.

You might be able to pick one up used if you don't mind being a 2nd owner. Its not a hell of a lot cheaper but a few hundred bucks in your pocket ain't bad.
