What watch do you wear?

Rami Elhage. Went to the old Bulova School after immigrating here from Lebanon. First met him and his nephews (who he use to employ) about 15 years ago when he had a shop on Fort Belvoir. He owns a store in Alexandria now. Belleview Jewelers. Warning though, he doesn't like cuckoo clocks though he does repair them. He's a good man.

He wouldn't happen to be in that shopping center at Belleview Blvd. and Ft. Hunt Road would he?

Ahhh, just found this thread.

I've been on a serious watch bender for the last few years. Now that my watch stable has reached a nice steady-state, I'm diving into the knife world -- which is a much less expensive hobby, that's for sure, but every bit as enjoyable so far!!

Anyways, here are a few of mine:

It's hard to beat a good ol' fashioned luminox. I wore their base model for years. It was literally in 1000s of fights on terrazzo floors and still works to this day. Beat all to crap. Hardly any white left on the bezel. All edges of the bezel beat smooth & round. Only a couple scratches on the lens from the terrazzo. Went through 7 bands & still works.

I manage to have 2 of them, one black plastic model that is well worn but it was that way when I got it. My other is the stainless steel model that I really like for weekend wear but I have only seen one other one like it. It came on a rubber strap, I put it on a generic oyster bracelet and I like it that way.

Lol, good luck getting past the ferocious guard dog - or did you not see him in the photo with the Blancpain??!? :)

Hahaha! I've foiled numerous persons' home security plans with Beggin Strips while doing civil process service.

But just look at the size of those teeth! LOOK AT THEM!

And he has mad body-smothering submission skills, if he gets you on the couch it's OVER!

He's even trained in STEALTH and paw-to-hand COMBAT -- Look at him sneaking up on that defenseless little girl with his LASER EYES and a pointy stick!

:)
