What watch do you wear?

...solid performance that doesn't break the bank. I don't like that fussy stuff.

This week, my one Rolex.

From my best friend's estate 10 years ago. Oyster Perpetual dated to 1971 he bought himself when he received his Bachelor degree in 1973 (from back in the day Rolex weren't needlessly and stupidly expensive). c.1570, one of the most robust auto movements ever made.

Great story. I agree about the 1570. Mine is from 1959. My father-in-law gave it to me. It's been run over by a car and put through hell. I had it serviced in December and is still running within chronometer standards. I love this little thing.

Can't say I'm a fan of most modern Rolex's.
But those 2 vintages are beautiful.

It's my first watch. I wanted to see if I liked wearing one before spending a lot of money. I've now got my eye on an Omega. I can't remember the name, but here's a pic

Got a new watch yesterday so I need to update my EDC pics...

One of the last of the railroad approved wristwatch. Ball trainmaster (a real one) and not one of the new one's trying to build cache on a name that no longer has any relationship with the actual watch.

The most legible watch I own.
