What watch do you wear?

Then why on earth would you feel compelled to post in a thread with this title?

Well I felt compelled to respond because I never liked wearing a watch and when they put a clock on cell phones I no longer had to wear one, this is just my feeling I did not disrespect anyone or use vulgar language and the last time I checked we had a thing called free speech in this country and besides I didn't know I had to check in and get your approval before posting a reply, Earick!

I rotate some Seiko Kinetic and Bertucci watches. Here is one of the Bertucci watches that I am wearing today, a great value in a rugged titanium watch.

This is an internet forum, not a country. We don't care about your free speech. You posted that you don't wear watches in a thread asking what watch you wear. Are you just looking for attention? That's like posting that you hate puppies in a thread asking what's your favorite puppy. No one wants to hear your opinion if you don't have one.

Lately, I've been wearing my typical G-Shock DW6900-1V or my Seiko SNE-107, but I've been eyeing up this Seiko SSC017. I really like Seiko's Solar Divers.

First, this is a private forum and you are afforded no free speech. You play by Sparks rules or you leave, his house is rules. Take your free speech bs out to your town square it, doesn't play here. Second, you did come in with a manner of disrespect. This is not a "Do you wear a watch?" thread, it's a "What watch do you wear?" thread. So, if you do not wear a watch you should move on to the next thread, but you did not because you are trolling and that is the definition of being disrespectful. I guess that you don't need anyone's approval to be a troll so feel free to soil up a thread of watch enthusiast if it makes you feel better.

To stay on topic, I have a Orient Blue Mako inbound to wear with a Blue/Orange/White Nato. My goal is to replace it with a Omega Seamaster Bond at some point. I have a GSAR that I wear but it needs to be sent out for bezel repair so the Mako will be a Sub-sub..lol

Personally, I like the big Nav. B-Uhr with the Type A dial:

No complications, just an easy-to-read face.

Well Davey boy, I served my country with 8 yrs of my life so jerks like you could spew venom if they like and if you "don't care about free speech" as you state you need to grow up and read some history books son. Sounds like your a little boy!

You won't go far with that attitude.

Well Davey boy, I served 8 years of my life in the Army so little punks like you can write and say what they like and if you "don't care about free speech" like you wrote you need to read some history books son! Sounds like you are an immature little boy!

I've owned my Citizen for only ten weeks. There was a great deal of research involved before making my decision, with much of it is still fresh in my mind.

After reading many reviews, the general consensus seemed to be that the watch should be placed on a dresser near an open window or under a desk lamp when not being worn. The battery is such that it does best when kept mostly fully charged (unlike a cell phone battery that should be discharged from time to time.) There were plenty of people reporting 10-15 years of use so far without a battery change. I don't think the technology has been around to really know if they'll make it to 20 years or more (as has been predicted.) I think the key is to make sure the watch gets plenty of light whether worn or not. So far, I've been very happy with my purchase—again though—only ten weeks.)

I have a Citizen Nighthawk that I bought back in 2005, still going strong no issues at all with the battery.

I ordered an Orient Ray just last week and have been wearing it since it arrived on Monday. I am liking it pretty well so far. I got the black face version but I was very tempted to go with the blue.

And your service doesn't change the truth of his statement by even one iota.

Here's an uncoiled watch with an eight day mainspring added.
