The problem with a hacking movement is that to synch the seconds hand with another time source (the sole purpose of hacking) you must interrupt the time keeping of the watch. Better is to have a seconds setting bezel which navigators used. Regardless the need to synch your seconds hand with a secondary time source is no longer necessary in today's world.
