Where do you live? That forest is beautiful.Went hiking today wearing a G (Mudmaster) and carrying my Ritter Grip

Where do you live? That forest is beautiful.
Oh wow. Bet you are. I'm in SC so were are definitely from similar climates and geographical areas. Always wanted to make a trip to that area because it looks like that!I live in Seattle, and yes it is indeed a beautiful area. I'm from Florida, and we just moved out here last summer. These pics were taken on a mountain trail within an hour of the city, and as far as I can tell so far the whole area is surrounded by such places. We're enjoying it immensely.
Nice work both on the watch and the knife. I mod some g shocks as well. Here’s my built from scratch gw5000/gw5000hr/gw5035a custom along with my rit dyed Bugout with me today.Thanks!...It wasn't hard to make at all. I don't have much experience customizing knives, but I am good at tearing things up so that came in kinda handy for this modification. I do have alot of experience customizing G-Shocks, however, and the idea for this knife started when I made the Boba Fett Rangeman, and wanted a knife to match. I started with my own already fairly used green 940, as the wear was a good thing for this project. First I removed the anodization on the back-spacer using the Oxi-Clean method. The coloring on the parts is not any kind of special coating or anything, I just used spray paint. I figured if it chips or wears it will just add to the look, plus this project was done pretty much for my own fun anyway. Then I basically just scraped and scuffed the whole thing. The blade already had some wear, but I added to that with sandpaper. I did the same on the frame and other parts, and I even took it outside and scraped it on the concrete in my driveway a bit. For an added touch, I used a thumb stud from a Rift, and put the extra screws on the non-clip side to represent his yellow "kill stripes" (IIRC, those screws were from a different model due to clearance, but I can't remember which one). Needless to say, there wasn't much skill involved in the process, but I must say it was loads of fun to make. Honestly, I think the acid wash on your 940 might have served this mod even better. Feel free to PM me if I can answer any further, but I think that pretty much sums it up.
Here are a couple better pics of the custom Boba Fett Rangeman, which was also a blast to build.

	Victorinox Dive master 500

Thinking about putting it on a Gunmetal PVD 22mm Dive Master 500 Watch Bracelet

Hey your the GW-5000BB guy. Love what you did with that. Hadn't gotten up the courage to try that on my Gw-5000 yet.Cool! That turned out perfect. I built a few Frogman from scratch back when parts where more readily available. The ability to customize is one of my favorite things about G's. In fact, out of my 15-20 G-Shocks I think I only have one or two that I have not customized in some way.
BTW, I'm on the watchuseek forums under the name "Knives and Lint". Here's a couple more that I've made (sorry for the non-Benchmade content)
