What will be your first Spyderco of 2015?

First Spyderco of 2015....and the only Spyderco in my collection at the moment (blasphemy, I know).

I'd like to hear your thoughts when you get it. It looks really great, but the price seems a little high for steel handles. I do understand why though, being a tribute to Carpenter, and I like a hefty knife so it's on my list.

As for my first Spyderco of 2015, I am heavily leaning towards the lil Lionspy.

I'll definitely throw in my two cents when it arrives.
It pushes a lot of the right buttons for me. A great US company that's been around a long time and made from their products exclusively. All steel construction being heavy but it'll last forever.
And what's an ounce one way or another really after carrying the Tatanka around? ;)
And just a bonus, it's got that letter C etched on the handle. That's the first letter of my last name. I'll get some mileage out of that. :thumbup:
 
That milling on the lock bar relief looks really nice. Do these have the BLU handle material?

I thought that my first of the year would be a Roadie or one of the other new offerings, but then I came across this. A ten year old gem. :)

+1 on the PPT although may be time to try a Southard.
 
Honestly, I bought so many Spydercos in 2013 and 2014 I think I'll look at some other brands first in 2015. I've already started the new year with a couple of other brands. We'll see how long I can hold out before falling for another Spyderco.
 
my first 2015 spyderco would be a yellow SAVER with h1 Steel (obviously serrated)
am a fan of the spyderedge so, i found it at a great Price.
so im waiting for it to arrives.
 
First for me will be a ZDP-189 Dragonfly 2 & Manbug. That'll have to tide me over until the Roc is released.
 
I'm looking to mule # 20 to get my spyderco fix for the first of this year. Anyone know when they will be comming out?
