What will you be EDC'ing Christmas morning :D? To open packages, cut string, put those toys together (for the SAK and MT fans) ? Heck, to make breakfast, or see if it is sharp enough to cut slivers off of that pile of wrapping paper on the floor ?

My choice will probably be either my mini Ritter, or Gossman PSK.

Great thread...

Probably a SAK Supertinker (gotta have the phillips head to open those battery compartments on the toys) and a Kershaw Blur for those hard to open boxes and bags.

Case CV Peanut. I've had it for less than a week and can't seem to put the little bugger down.

I got a six pack of Bells Two Hearted Ale ( another review) for Christmas from a coworker yesterday. I might have to get the Wenger SI out to handle that one.;)

Leatherman Charge xti for me. Need all the tools to deal with all of the crazy packaging the kids' toys come in... wire, wire ties, tape, and those damn clamshell packs.

Swisstool. I used my Okapi sheepsfoot last year. I think that serrated sheepsfoot should be good for clamshells, and the other tools could be useful too.

I will be using some form of the Spyderco Military and will also be toting a Leatherman Micra for its handy little scissors.

The people that design packages are heinous, but cardboard, plastic shells, ties, and tape are no match for the Millie! :D

My LM Charge Ti, and I got a Böker Speedlock II as a christmas gift for my brother. So that'll see some use too,I hope.

I've already been thinking about this. How nerdy.

I'll probably have a Spydie Tenacious, Case butterbean and SAK Explorer, with the butterbean doing the work.

Some folks in the world are worried about finding food or serious illness or impending divorce. And I'm thinking about which knife to play with. We have it pretty good.

Leatherman Juice; I need the philips for those battery compartments on kids' toys and the wire cutters to get them out of the boxes - can you believe how they package those things these days?!

I will be carrying my Koster Bushcraft, and probably a OHT swiss army just in case I need a screwdriver. I think we are all a bit crazy to be thinkin about this stuff, but then again everyone knows who to ask open their boxes for them.

I might just use my machete...:D
Probably these two:

Contractor's utility knife to open packages, cut string, etc.

Gerber multi-tool to put stuff together.

Gerber pocket ax to chop garlic and shrimp for omelets.

I have been using my Ontario RAT Model 1 folder, compliments of TexasTonyDobbs, for everything lately. I just used it two seconds ago to cut up my Chorizo Con Queso Torta. I'm sure it will be my knife of choice Xmas morning.

My lady and I had to open gifts early this year since we're traveling, but I used my Mora 510 on everything :)

I will be using a NMFBM (Nuclear Meltdown Fusion Battle Mistress).....I like to be Subtle when opening presents:D

Gerber EVO Jr and Buck X-Tract (Thanks Noshtero!)....then after opening some of my own presents the evo will be replaced w/ a BK11
