What would make you want to be part of the KITH?

I’ve participated in three KITHs on another forum. Makers were paired up to make a knife for each other and encouraged to do a WIP during the build. I’ve made three wonderful friends that I continue to correspond with. Learned a lot of neat stuff watching the WIPs. There is a lot more value in KITH than just the value of the knife received.

Main thing for me to join is just time. It’s not even the cost of materials. I do want to join one/some in the future though

Those look great. If people are going to push themselves a bit I would do something out of M4 possible. If not S35VN. Those are my two preferred steels although I haven't made many out of those. This was a little A2 hunter I made for a KITH several years ago. I should be able to do a bit nicer job now.

What steel is that. I like a little rind left on when people pull it off. I suppose it's hard to make work in a folder. A folder is tons of work. I was drooling over SBuzek SBuzek 's entry several years ago.
I think it was just some rusted 1084 I had laying around. I never finished it, was just a bunch of left over stuff I had in my shop. Still have a long way to go to get a functional folder.

I assumed it was work in progress. It looks like a solid start.
