What would you change about the Sebenza 21?

-more satin blades
-factory polished scales w/o graphic or inlay
-new thumbstud or disk opener
-ikbs, though this may be in conflict with the no wrist flipping.
-full flat grind
-flat/countersunk screws
-carbon fiber inlay

Glad to see you posting l2lku2.

Thanks MiG Angel. It is nice to see a familiar name. I have not done too much on the CRK front since my last posts.

I will be adding some Regulars next and am thinking of getting a few "Scotchbrite" finished ones also to see how that is.

Am also going to ask CRK whether they will round that rear top corner for me on some of these.

Here is where I am now:

I would change the opener to something other than a stud or disk.

After handling the Ti lock at the recent custom show, I'm very happy with the design of that particular knife.

FWIW I asked Mr. Reeve about a Spyderhole opener on the Sebenza and he basically said "no, never":o

I'd love a satin polished blade option on the basic 21. I'd also like the edges of the pocket clip to have a radius so they don't tear up my pockets. Oh, and I don't really care for the new screws :D

Otherwise, perfect as is!

How about a Tom Mayo and Tom Krein colaboration for a custom Seb like I have on the way? I had to throw another post up, as its my 500th one...Thank you very much!! I will now reach around and pat myself on the back!!!

I would also love if they would throw out some sprint runs with different steels however I don't see that ever happening.

One thing that I could see happening and have always wondered why it hasn't already happened is the carbon fiber inlays. I always thought that that would be one of the first and most obvious inlays that they would do.

May be that's why ? They seem to do the oposite of what people want and expect. :p

Could be time to start asking for a full serated Pacific and GB etc. ......:D:thumbup:

I would change the inlays to be a single larger piece (like the LE), instead of the two smaller strips used in current inlays.

I would like to see a 21 with a ZDP189 blade, hollow grind at the maximum hardness, a stand alone edition not limited.
A better tumb-stud, less pyramid; or even better I dare to say a Spyderhole:p...

But for me the Sebenza 21 is already perfect and a good value knife, expensive but worth it (mechanical jewel:cool:), the important thing is to keep producing it at a not to high price.

Thought about it for a while, the only thing id like is if they threw in some of their own grease with the knife
