  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

what would you consider

My 1st go to was the BK2 and then I had to have a BK9 and that led to a great BK7 and then the BK2 Mirro Finish and just had to have the 10 because it just looked bad and then dropped way down to the BK11 because it kinda went good with the BK2 in the woods and on and on and so forth.!! I am Becker poor as all of my Becks have Custom Handles and Custom Leather Sheaths and I am just glad that there is nothing more I can do to them.!**

Bk16. Its Ethan's favorite and should be the flagship. The general and admiral, a vessel of beauty and grace. Followed closely of course by the gunships, bk2,4,9 and the black pearl bk5, the fastest deadliest ship in the fleet.

the first Becker of course is the Machax.

i think it's the flagshippeyist :)

Right now it's the 2, but when the RP tweeners are released the 16 is gonna take over.

I think that since I've got a 16 I won't go for a 2, but I'll bet I'm in the minority. And I'd say that a lot of the becker crowd can appreciate a vintage buick for it's awesomeness, and will still opt for 1/4" steel

Bk-2 is not getting displaced, I like the 16 as much as anyone else but most people love a 1/4" edged crowbar that you can baton buicks with over a bush knife, except for bush people. Neither one can replace a good ol fashioned Machax :D

I think the Machax is the most unique Becker, and by far the most iconic of the line up, well would be if it were more readily available....

EDIT: I posted this and then I thought, that's right, I thought. Anyhow, I have to correct myself, the BK8 is the most unique in the line up.

yep the bk2 is what started it all for me... its just the perfect balance for ME not everyone but my next is a 5 ive heard way too many good things.... im avoiding the tweens im rebelling!!

A tweener, by definition can't be your flagship.

Between: intermediate to, in time, quantity, or degree: between twelve and one o'clock; between 50 and 60 apples; between pink and red.

The BK2 is the elder statesman, winner and still champion. If a BK2 can baton through it, it don't beat the Becker Train Wrecker.

i didnt know Buick ever mde a car 58 foot long LOL

zing!

I agree, while the 9 is the king, the 2 is the man....when you ask the average knife guy to name a Becker, chances are he will say the 2.....I believe it's the knife that carries the Top of Mind Awareness of the crew...

Side note, of the available models, which do yall think is the least desirable...My guess would be the 3 just because it's the one that is really the most different from the others...

BK2. The design is 30yrs old, and the only BKT that is older, is the BK4.

The BK2 was/is the knife that sets BKT apart from the rest, IMO. Its a thick, heavy knife, but its built to WORK. It slices, chops, splits, and carves. And its 1/4" thick. The handle is great, and there is no other knife I would grab if I had to just grab 1.

There is nothing I can't do with it, and I never have to worry about it failing me.

Its the logo for the Beckerheads, and its gonna be around as long as BKT is.

I'm new to Beckers but went straight to a BK9. Next up will probably be something mid sized.... Just not too sure which one just yet.

I recall one tweener that ruled the greater part of the world. Napoleon. Size only matters if your throwing hot dogs down a subway tunnel.

I actually absolutely LOVE my -3 I use it for demo and remodel work and it's awesome.
