what would you consider

According to Ethan (as of 2011?) the BK-2 was the most popular followed by the BK-11. Also, what the hell is up with people saying the 2 is a sharpened chunck of steel...Makes it sould like a blunt ass blade used by cavemen.

I got booted from a facebook group because I wanted to know WTF the guy that started the group (who should know better, given the online company he keeps) bought a damn Bear Grylls Ultimate Survival Knife. He was crying because the BK2 "is like a 3lb knife!". First time he batons with that thing and flattens those cheap metal serrations, he'll wish he had a BK2.

Someone else here owns one (a Bear Grylls knife), but I'm not going to out him... ;)

I went back and read that post, it wasnt even that bad, not as if you all were swearing your head off (like me) or talking about burning down a retirement home.

BK3 is a sharpened prybar. Whenever I want to just break something that's what grab, I have no other practical use for it.

Beckerhead #42

For me perssonally it is the 7. But the 2 is probably what comes to mind 1st for most people when talking BKT. Just wasn't my cup of tea.

When I think of a "flagship" knife, I always think of a knife that a company has that represents that company and is most recognized under that company. Being somewhat new to Becker, I think the bk2 was the first knife I knew to associate the company of Becker with, which is why I see the bk2 (despite my lack of one) to be the flagship.

Even though the obvious answer is the 2.....I will say the flagship knife is something that won't be produced for another 10 years. I say that just to look cool. :)
