What would you like to see Buck produce?

500 Duke with S30V blade or even just an S30V option in the custom shop.

Classic handled fixed blade but with a shorter/beefier blade. Sort of like a 113 blade on a 119 handle is what I am thinking. Yes, seems a bit odd but have been wanting to do cross draw or horizontal carry and I don't see a good option in the line up for that now. The 113 is too small for my hand or that would be it.

Buck did this back in about 2010. It was the Heritage Set. 5 different models. You could order the entire set or just the one you liked. The Duke had canvas micarta handles with a liner, polished steel frame and a S30V blade. These rarely come up for sale. Good luck, DM

I would like to see Buck bring back their Millennium Trapper model 334. Don't change anything about it. Just offer it with a leather sheath. DM

I want one of these too. David, do the blades open smoothly all the way through or do they hold at half open. I forget if there is a term for that.

A Bucklite the size of a 503 (or the 55) would be reeeeally nice. Buck has made the smaller 505/425 Bucklite and the bigger 501/444 & 424, but not a plastic-handled model in between. The 3 3/8 inch length of the 503 makes a perfect watch pocket knife, but imagine if it was half the weight!

I would love for them to make a VANTAGE WITH A 110 BLADE. G-10 Scales in that black and blue and how about orange and black and the color list can go on and on. Keep it light like the select but offer the better steels. Use BETTER SCREWS SO IF IT GETS DIRTEY the owner can take it apart and clean it Easley. Don't use DRIVE PINS TO ASEMBLE. The Vantage is my favorite EDC and has been for years. The 110s-560 also. But other than the 560, the 110s are just to heavy for me to edc.

How about a 560 with 110 scales. Make the blade flip like the Vantage, and have the Vantage pocket clip. Use the bearing set up like the Marksman.

Seconds on all the 300 series ideas plus that Barlow. I love the 300 series and I almost never need a bigger knife than a 301. Different scales maybe a nicer SS like CPM 154 or S30V. For scales I'd like to see different colors and different materials. Brass liners look classy to me without being "pretty boy dandy". Anything 301 besides what is being made now. Especially with stronger springs.

I love the 100 series fixed blade hunting knives. I have been using them for decades. The Copper and Clad releases in 5160 are great and I picked up all of the phenolics in that lineup. I would really like to see Buck bring back the 121 in their modern grinds, with lots of options for handles and steel, and PLEASE can we have the old flap-over sheaths back again???!!!

Buckshack, you have to pull the blades on the model 334 through the entire opening travel. They don't just flop open. They have pop, into place.
Buck still offers their 121 and it has a different shape and grind than the early ones. It's more like a boning style blade. DM

Full tang buck 119 with removable multi-set scales of varied colors & brass screws.
And let's have an integral thumb rest and lower finger guard with bored holes ( for para cord securing ).

I would like to see a 102 with S35VN steel. I would not mind a stacked leather handle or a maroon micarta handle.

I'd like to see higher end steels then 420HC.

I'd like to see more full flat grinds.

I'd like to see a little less molded plastics and more G10 and micarda.

I'd like to see quality improve and more designs of the vantage family, something a little more modern, but keep the great work when it comes to skinning hunting knives, you guys are the boss in that category!

Awesome suggestions guys! Thanks for all the great feedback. Happy to say that a few of these ideas are already in production. We've got some really exciting things coming out in the 2nd half of the year. Can't wait to share it with y'all!

PS keep the ideas coming!
