What would you like to see EKI in 2015?

I don't know about you guys, but I know I always have a hard time telling an Emerson and a Sebenza apart. Especially since both companies share the same initials :D

Well there has been some new stuff announced, and I am sure as the year continues. There will be more announced. I do wish for some limited runs of LEFT HANDED Models, (dreaming) as I would be first on line to get a MINI CQC-15. But being realistic I understand us lefty are such a small percentage of the buying public. We are lucky in the real world EKI make two model in TRUE LEFT HANDED VERSIONS.

I see another "7" in my future, but am bot sure if it will be Serratted or NOT.

I would like to see Emerson offer knife scales in various shades/colors for those who don't want or like the standard black. It's really a pain getting a response from any number of aftermarket handle makers, and this would be a win for EIK and the consumer.

Perhaps a tactical pen added to the line up? A self defense pen/kubaton that uses a clicky feature that looks like the "wave" on the side of the pen.

A pen would be cool, I vote classic EKI stonewash barrel w' classic EKI grinds on the tip and endcap.

All EKI needs to dominated knife world business is steel upgrade seriously...

Imagine CQC-8 with PD#1 steel /w cryo quench to 61rc. With Ernest's superb ergonomic design along with better fit and finish we have seen lately, none company will ever come close to Emerson knife.

OK, this thread has been up a while and some truly interesting suggestions/wishes/fantasies have been offered. Yet, even more interesting is Mr. E has shown (SHOT Show) some amazing concepts none of us even suggested.

Ernest, I really want to thank you for who you are and what you bring to us, your customers and fans.

Now that Mr. E has tipped his hand, I have my ultimate production Emerson knife in mind: Iron Dragon design (size/shape), with a liner-lock, thick liner (ala Custom Emerson), G10 scales in black but in the same texture as the OD models, liners coated black, standoffs, and... with a flipper and bearings like the Rangemaster. OK, maybe two versions: this one, plus another without the flipper and bearings. Dang, OK, a third: full custom chisel grind/zero edge, no bearings/flipper.

Would like a CQC-5 production model with solid G-10 scales as opposed to the micarta and titanium bolsters of the custom, wave feature (or not), and tanto V grind, or spearpoint V grind...I really like my smaller folders.
