What WSS themed gear do you have on the way?

I'm also on the Reeves waiting list (month 10) for a Nessmuck style axe. The only other thing on order is one of Bryan Breeden's Baby Pathfinder knives, without scales, for use in yet another kit.

Not what most would call a wilderness blade, but definitely falls under the "survival" aspect -- finally got the money and scored the CGFBM I've been lusting after for a long time. In EXACTLY the color scheme and handle size I want from a fellow forum member. Woot.

Also scored a complete MOLLE II pack setup. They're a LOT nicer than I'd been lead to believe and work great.

Fresh from Finland...should be here aaannnnyyy day now and its driving me nuts. But I have been waiting 5 months already so whats a few more days shipping.

BOIIIINNNNGGG!!! NICE KIT!

Well the postal carrier was good to me and delivered a couple toys this week. The top one is a Great Eastern Cutlery #73 Scout slip joint with a liner lock in 1095 steel and with smooth black buffalo horn scales. The other is my Stomper Tin Knife.

I'm coming to appreciate the beauty of slip joints and found this one to carry around and be more sheeple-friendly than some of my other knives. The Tin Knife will also be a constant companion and is pretty much my idea of a neck knife. Big knives around my neck don't suit me at all. This one is light enough and unobtrusive to be a nice tool at hand whenever I might need it. I'm planning on adding some thin wooden scales at some point to gussy it up.

I'm a happy man right now.:D

Thats a gorgeous knife. I love that GEC model. How is the lockup? Any chance of an in hand pic?

It's my favorite GEC. Perfect size for my pocket and it looks so nice. The lockup is good, although the backspring is pretty darn strong and I think I'd be confident in it not closing on me even without the liner (unless I did something stupid with it). The cool thing about the liner is that is supports the bottom of the tang as well as the front. I'll see if I can snap a few pics later. Gotta run right now.

I got an LT Wright Tracker with amboynia burl handle and D2 and a Helle Bra Kar in trade today at a gun show. Also, got some Old Hickory knives.

Recently ordered and have received 4 Vic Farmers, two red, two blue, a mess of CountyComm $1 flashlights, a couple GoLite ponchos, a couple of Going Gear firesteels, and a Blastmatch.

As always, I have JK's coming and a Breeden in a couple months.:D

I have a JK EWOK coming to give away for my 4000 post. More details on that as I get closer. The winner will get to pick their scales from Johns selection.

Still waiting on a Ft. Turner Roger's Rangers Tomahawk to come... should be here soon. It'll be my first hawk.

I'm currently waiting on one of Michael's aluminum fire pistons. Should be fun to play around with and make fires:)

I was going to order a BRKT Aurora. I like the configuration and blade shape, but then got to thinking what was I going to use it for?

For Bushcrafting and food prep outdoors I have both a BRKT Cumberland Trail and Canadian Camp for even more food prep I have a Canadian Sportsman II.

For a Large knife to use in case I'm attacked by Zombies I have a SOG Agency.

So looking at my collection I realized that I probably wouldn't use the Aurora for what it was designed for, and it probably would end up in the kitchen.

So instead of getting an Aurora...I ordered a BRKT Kitchen/Utility. At about 60% the price.

Similar (enough for me) blade profile, stainless, thinner stock for slicing...
When it arrives I will endeavour to post pics and a review.

Here are a few pics although the battery crapped out just as I was going to get a shot or two of the lock. Oh well, maybe later.

I was wondering if I should get the larger #23 but this is much more practical and easy to carry.

Oh wow...check out this leuku

Very interesting, for lack of a better description a "tactical leuku". With its full tang, it certainly addresses what might be considered a weak point in the traditional leuku.

My BHK Bushcrafter will be ready in a couple weeks, get to see LT and company at a local show (well, a two hour drive is local, right :D). Getting two small Sebbies and an Endura in a trade this week, not really WSS, but I have read that some people carry their Sebbies out in the bush ;).

I have a NWA forum knife coming sometime later this year, but on the more short term side I have a Brazo's hickory walking stick, and a red farmer coming in :)

I got a Busse HACK coming to me this week. Sweet little thin knife... hoping it will excel at wood carving and other small tasks suited to a thin strong razor sharp blade.

Well, I've had to go into work about 5 extra shifts in the last couple weeks because of my employees not being able to make it in for various reasons, so I figure that I can spend this extra coin I've picked up on a new knife, so I've just ordered a JK EWOK. Haven't decided on the handle material yet, but I'm so pumped. Should be in my hands by early march.
