What you don't (!) like about a Sebenza?

I seem to be in the minority here, as I really like the thumbstud... or I'm at least used to the thumbstud.

I don't like the pocket clip, which is why I don't carry the knife. I sticks out a little too far and gets caught on things (it once snagged a counter top and ripped my pocket ). I'd like to see a bit longer clip and the option of tip down. I really like tip up carry, but a few of the times the Sebenza's clip caught on something, the resulting jolt opened the blade just a little and I got stuck.

FOr all it's problems, at least the clip isn't as bad as the one on the SOG Flash... now that's a horrid clip.

The scratching issue doesn't really bother me. I've got a nice long scratch on my blade from where it caught a hidden staple in a box; and a few on the handle from stuff in my pocket, being dropped, etc.

The design and fit/finish are outstanding, it's just time to refine it a bit.

I agree with you on most. Have you tried the new style clips yet? They are way, way tighter. To tight for my needs.
I love my sebenza's but hate the pointed thumbstuds! They are even worse on the new inlay model I got because your thumb is positioned higher on the micarta inlay to start with. they need something like a allen elishewitz thumbstud(steped design).

An opening hole would be great. I like the CRK thumbstuds, but they tear up my pants. Otherwise, I'd like to see dual thumbstuds as standard. And, let's see, I don't like the ridges on the regular model's handle. I find them very uncomfortable. I'd definitely go along with the idea of a regular model blade with a classic model style handle.

Oh, and another thing. I just acquired a graphic model Sebbie. Very cool, but I would have prefered that clip side of the handle be buffed to match the graphic side.

I'd echo every single one of Nathan's comments. I love my Sebbies as they are, but those would be on my wish list for sure. A Spyder-Sebenza collaboration would have me diving for my credit card for sure.

Oh and full flat grind would be on the wish list too, and the canvas micarta option for the Regular and Mnandi!
