i know it, bad deal, i'm just not up to par tonight, worried about my differentials....
 
Laphroaig. To celebrate:
1) we're done moving furniture and... stuff (no, not the knives - they're staying here) needed (apparently) to sell this apartment, and
2) Jr (or Jr:esse - we didn't want to know just yet) kicked dad in the ear last night. I pressed my ear to my fiancee's belly and was almost knocked out cold. Magical. How many months are they supposed to be before they can take up chi-sao training? Or tennis?
3) two pieces of Ohio steel, the less expensive kind from the extravaganza, arrived safely in Sweden last night, and
4) ... why not? Have a sip and close your eyes - smell the cold salt water and rotten kilts - reminiscence of glorious pillaging of the North sea islands.

Wife and I just put our first official offer on our first house. We've been looking for 3 months now, there is a lot of crap in our area and finding a jewel has been a real challenge.

We were the first people to officially look at it when it listed starting this morning, when I drove by during my lunch (which I spent at the realtor's putting together the offer) another realtor was showing the place to someone else - our city has Multiple Listing Services.

It's been a hectic day - a little nervous jumping on a house that I just saw this morning; but it just feels right. Now to sit back...and sip some tasty! :)
 
HOLY HOG! When I started this thread I didn't expect it to last this long... anyhoo, when I went to one of my favorite liquor stores they were out of Elijah Craig so the sales guy recommended "Eagle Rare" 10 year old single malt bourbon. I've always drank my bourbon and scotch neat but decided to drink some of this with soda water on the rocks this evening as a change of pace. Uhmm!

I guess this thread will end someday! :eek:

Sounds delicious - next time I have a cold I'm going to give that one a try. Wonder if it will shorten the duration of a cold? :confused:

It's Wednesday................Amy-0 is drinking her first Coors light of the evening.....................and this thread will never end cause we all like to drink a little except for Skunk.......He likes to Drink ALOT!!!!!!!
