This was my grail knife as well and i searched everyday for one. I finally found it right here on the exchange in this forum. Just watch the exchange and check it religiously and you will find one eventually and probably for a lot less than that one went for on the bay. I was watching that very one your talking about and I have seen them sell here for less than half what that one went for. You will find it but it could take a while. I was so excited when I finally found mine and almost was in disbelief. Here is a picture or 2 to tied you over.

Those certainly ARE a great handle, slanted bolsters work well with it too. I got mine from the Exchange and I would not part with it, could do with a Pumpkin Patch to keep it company though!

Only thing I have on order is a cheap contemporary Sharpfinger in stainless, just to test the pattern. But, I've been VERY lucky with knives over the past six months so I can't really expect to be ordering much. Nothing on GEC's current radar actually interests me (heresy!)

This one just came in. Great Eastern #613211 half congress in Tortoise Shell acrylic. One of only four made, unserialized.
This is the best faux tortoise I've ever seen, and one of the best acrylics of any description that GEC have done.
