I've picked up three of the GEC #15 pattern in the last two months, but kept coming back to the forums and lingering over pictures of that EZ open scout with the lambsfoot, knowing full well I had used up my knife budget for quite some time. Husband says, "Well, why don't you go ahead and order that one for Mother's Day."
So, I've got a GEC EZ open Scout, double blade lambsfoot main, antique yellow jig bone and it is "out for delivery."

You'll have to wait for about 5 weeks. It's my Father's Day gift.
But I gave it a quick once over tonight when it got here to make sure there were no issues.
No issues and it is AWESOME.

Thanks, Scott - that's good to hear. I went back and forth a fair bit between natty can and the red linen, but I figured I'll be able to find the red better when I inevitably misplace it on a regular basis.

Now if I can just find a Hayin' Helper with a sheepsfoot... I hope they do another run of these some time soon.
