Bought Laguiole made by Robert David in 12C27 Sandvik steel and wonderful snakewood covers. F&F is actually perfect. Great spring tension, scales matched together etc etc...

Well, let's see. Currently inbound I have a radical and shameless black sheep of the traditional family. A Bermuda Green Case Russlock with a pocket clip.

I also have a SVORD mini-peasant on the way too. It's a little radical too as it has the red synthetic handle to go with the rustic, high carbon blade.

Yep, I even used to put sugar on my grits at one time. I got better (customs wise, but became diabetic), but then I went paleo and don't eat grits anymore.

Just ordered a GEC #92 Talon with the spear point blade with the green micarta. This will be my first GEC, and am super excited about the purchase! I'm interested to see how it compares to my year old Case Texas Jack in CV, which has been my first foray (or one might say "gateway knife") back into traditional slipjoints since I had a boy scout knife decades ago when I was a boy scout! Of course, pic's will be forthcoming, hopefully within a few days.
