Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

They look great Andi!!

Hmm... On order... A Hawthorn on the way and a GEC #77 for later this year :)

Thanks Trand - the GEC in 440C is a great knife and the gunstock jack is a pattern I´m long interessted in.

Tomorrow two purchases. My first custom made traditional.... this T.A. Davison...WooHoo! :D

And the BF knife....WooHoo! :D

Sorry...I'm a little excited. :eek::D

Of course I got the 2014 BF knife on order but I also just ordered a Chestnut bone peanut. It will be my first CV peanut so I'm pretty excited to get it.

Just added another #53 Cuban to my growing collection, this one a 2007 Genuine Stag with gorgeous gnarly covers. Me very happy! :)

I'm getting a GEC #79 Workhorse, single spring. It's a Northfield with blood red jig bone, and it can't get here quickly enough!

Glad to hear that. Waiting two months would deprive me of finger nails.

Indeed it is - sometimes it takes two weeks and sometimes two months. International shipping with involved customs is always tricky and often a waiting game. I have to admit, that I hate the long wait without any news or messages about the package. It really often drives me nuts. So I use to decide very close which knives to order from overseas and which I don´t really want / need.

Next issue sometimes is CITES with its animal-products or wood from endangered trees etc etc... Not so easy being a knife accumulator at all ;)

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I admire your patience. Me....I'm always checking the tracking websites for updates and worrying that local customs will seize my package.

Customs uses to catch my packages, open them and let 'em go to a research facility and see if the bone scales are from endangered animals or not. Sometimes I have to come the authority office - they already know me and just hand me out the packge let me pay the tax and fees and everything is alright again. It´s a great moment when a letter from the customs is in the mailbox, I can come and get the package. Then I know it´s finally here.

Sometimes I pay directly to the mailman and get the package directly.

Strange, strange, strange all the way down until I get my paws on it.

I know the feeling only too well....

But on the other hand, having nothing to wait for is a lot worse!:mad:

Some particularly nice knives shown lately: Jeff, that stag!! Andi, the Amber Carved Bone Stag on Queen knives is a very nice material I find. yatsunil, you will like the Nifebrite Scout, I spend hours childishly watching the handle glow in the dark :D Great and useful knife too.

Thanks all, Will

Mora No.1, Opinel No.8 Pruners (one carbon and one stainless), and an Opinel No.6. The last is for my daughter.

My wife told me to stop wasting money, so I ordered some knives.....

Thanks to Christian's (kamagong) Queen GAW, I've got one of these coming my way....

You all are horrible enablers! 😄

Thanks, avoidspam and Trand, I think it's the best stag in my whole collection. The domed pins really set off the great covers.
