Am I on your Christmas list, those are sweet!
I have my first traditional on order right now. I've only had a collection of modern folders, but this one really struck my interest as a nice compliment to a larger, modern EDC. Thanks to Kershawguy, I'll be getting a Kershaw Wild Turkey Damascus!
Just ordered my first Northfield #66 Serpentine. My wife picked it out of a line up of others.
You're going to love it! Very well made and quite rare. Love that suttle VG1 Damascus. Funny story about mine. Forgot I had it in my pocket going into the metal detectors at an MLB game (Never had them before). I said "It's just a little pocket knife," but they freaked out about my "Weapon." I hid it in some bushes outside the stadium when nobody was looking. Glad it was there after the game. Also on my second try to get in the game I forgot I had a teeny tiny knife on my keychain. Same story as above. Didn't know things were so bad that a beautiful little pocket knife is now considered a weapon.
Me too!#47 SFO chestnut peach seed.
Carry on.
Nice! Which one did you go with, stockman, slim or jack?
The stockman. I cant wait for it to get here.![]()
That is a great story - it shows how hyper sensitive some are about a small, sharp object. Especially strange when it's something of craft and beauty like the Wild Turkey. It will be my first really nice, collection-worthy traditional, and if I like it, which I'm sure I will, I'll probably have plenty more. I'm already liking the looks of the GEC Vipers - my favorite blade type.
