Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

I already have this Böker Small Stockman in Yellow smooth bone. Very nicely turned out knife, so I opted for one in STAG too:D

I was looking for something else, but I've never owned a knife with ebony covers and I've never had a Zulu spear blade. This was too easy a chance to try both.

That should be a very decent carry Frank. Sunk-joints, nice cut away to access the scalpel-like Spey blade and it feels good in the hand, I'm a fan of my bone version anyway.

This beauty will arrive this week.....(Tidioute Rust Red Bone Huckleberry Boys Knife)

Böker Copperhead in Appoloosa Bone, well you know, the spotty horse! Böker can do that very nicely actually.

A Colt single blade Gunstock, looks 'blingy' but I felt the need.....

How's the F/F on that Frank? He has a Sowbelly in ebony I like. As far as ebony, this wont be your last one. That wood is amazing.

I'll likely let you know Wednesday night. Mike shipped it pronto. USPS says it's due to be delivered Wed.

I'm new to traditionals and based on what seems like good advise on this forum, I ordered some inexpensive knives to determine what style and size knives I'll want to invest in. I'm used to carrying Spydercos and most of mine are very light compared to traditionals. I ordered five Rough Ridres:
Peanut
Toothpick
Canoe
Barlow
Stockman

I just put up two Spydies on eBay (a Native 5 and PM2) and once I see what sizes and designs feel good with the Rough Riders, I plan on using the Spydie funds to order some Case models for EDC. If I like traditionals as much as I believe I will, I'll then start to consider the higher-end production models (GEC, etc.). I've got a lot of OHO I can sell to fund some fun knives. Very fun and informative forum - thanks guys!

Mike, it sounds like you have a very good plan ahead of you. The Rough Riders are very good for the money, and will let you test the waters without a large expenditure.

Welcome, Mike. That's an excellent plan, and exactly how I got started with traditionals a couple months ago. Well, aside from having funds that is.

RR offers a credible decent knife at modest cost, no bad thing! Pick the one to your taste and it will rival the more esteemed marques.

I hear that an WCSB Small Stockman from the Queen stable is voyaging across the Atlantic to me. Great Expectations......

Is that it, the one in the picture?!?!? Congratulations! I have the single blade version (and no it is not for sale or trade:)) and I know you will be happy with it.

That's the exact one, in the mail as I type. Yea, I can't wait man. Here she is again, courtesy of one of our great forum brethren.
