Will do brother. Funny, I almost grabbed one of those Queen's in buffalo horn over the Electrician. I wanted something with a bottle opener that looked classy. That Queen meets that criteria in spades. Would love to see more pics when you get it.

I love mine!! It's a fantastic pattern. Some real heft to it, but it strangely disappears in my right rear pocket. Carries a lot smaller than its size, I think.

Michael

I got mine this afternoon and I was surprised at the size of it, but I'm more surprised just how well it disappears in my front pocket. My only real gripe with it is that my spay blade rubs the liner, but I'm not too worried about it since this is going to be a user.

Almost my exact impressions too. A substantial knife, but an outstanding design. My spey rubs another blade, but like you, it's a user so it doesn't bug me.

Had to look that one up!!! Nice!!!!

These Mudbugs are fine examples of excellent cutting tools. I have been carrying it daily. The 1095 steel is an excellent performer for my needs whether it is for the kitchen, yard or around the house. It reminded me that I do not really need S90V, M4 or M390 steel. The 1095 steel did just fine for me as a daily user. Such a throwback of a knife. It made me forget about other knives in my arsenal such as the carbon fiber Sebenza 25, Paramilitary 2 sprint and Griptilian. With its thin profile, the Mudbug fits in the hand like a well broken in ball glove. It just feels like an extension of your hand once you start putting it to work.

On the way, a "grail knife"!

An older Frosts Laminated 6" Hunter!!!!!

Yeah, I agree with you about 1095, and I definitely intend to use the incoming Mudbug. This will be my first micarta-handled knife, and I hear so many people extoll its virtues for user knife handles that I'm a tad bit more excited than normal.

IMO Mudbugs are the best Soddies on the market. I have 3 of them now. One I use constantly as my workhorse and the other 2 just because they are great knives.

I have ordered a Rough rider masonic sowbelly in blue bone and a lionsteel lockback in black bone .... .

I made the mistake of falling in love with a Schatt & Morgan #99 "cattle/harness" Scout (spear main, punch secondary). There's something about cigar-pattern knives that really appeals to me.

I just pulled the trigger on a large Rough Rider Stockman (4 3/8" closed) from their Soneworx series.
