GEC "Gun Scout" Knife with Brazil Bloodwood handles from another BFC-Member.

Can't wait 'til it arrives... :)

Just ordered my first Barkie, Springbok, anxious to have it in hand.

I found a small Boker in 440C and African Blackwood that I decided I needed.

The dealer's pics were not usable. Here's a photo I found floating on the net.

Looks to me like a single blade peanut. And it is about the size of a peanut, being 2 7/8" closed. I'm partial to blackwood and ebony. LOVE 440C. And I don't have a very small knife in that combination. It is marked "Solingen", so it should be German made.

Made up for losing a choice old Camillus bone barlow to Jeff, a.k.a. jprime84, with this (dealer photos):

won on a seconds schatt and morgan barlow in sheepsfoot, i usually dont dig sheeps foot but hey why not!

On a Mini Barlow voyage of exploration.

One option, the Rough Rider is well-charted and I have a smooth bone and armour bone lockback version, both mini and both remarkably good. So fingers crossed for the White Bone version too.

Also got a Schatt & Morgan Stag Mini Barlow on the way, no experience with this one, at least it looks good....:D

please do a side to side shot with a regular Schatt and Morgan barlow when they arrive thanks!:)

Would do but I don't have a Schatt Barlow. Only a Queen Workhorse or TC, they might do.

Well, you could loan me one of your Winterbottom Schatts for that matter..:D:thumbup:

Thanks, Will

I try to limit myself to one rifle and one pistol per year, but darned if I don't spend all my milk and cigarette money on knives (I don't drink milk anymore and have never smoked ;)).

Well, I've got a peanut coming to me from Tracy Larock sometime this year, getting a gunstock jack from Brent Cramer down the track, put my name in the hat for a run of custom Zulus through a certain BF dealer. A friend of mine, also a friend of Scott Gossman's, has told me he's got a Scott Gossman fixed blade trapper designed by Bobby Plude. Hopefully, if Scott allows any custom orders, I'll be getting a golok from him.

All this while looking at buying a house this year. There is a reason I'm driving a 2003 Silverado...

I can't do ramen noodles, but I always leave my bag lunches at home. Well, a couple days a week anyway.

Oh yeah, I asked Keith Johnson about getting on his list. And I'm still on the hunt for a Case Bose 2010 stag Tribal Spear. I gotta get a gold membership here.

A Case Sway Back Gent is the newest knife to land in my pocket. It is "pocket worn" and fits very nicely in hand. F&F is superb and the blade is centered with an appropriate pull and positive stops.

I got one recently, too. Unfortunately my blade is not well centered like yours, but other than that, I like it a lot.

I had a little store credit over at KSF so decided to give those good folks my business for my first gec. A #74 tidouite rancher in amber gold jigged bone.

Also, I've always wanted a medium cv Stockman and a sowbelly from case. Decided to get both at once just now.

Seems I'm on a multi blade kick for some reason after carrying the same TAD single and a sebenza or mnandi for a long time.

I saw one of these posted in the "What Are You Carrying" thread and couldn't resist getting one - LT Wright Patriot w/ Desert Ironwood:
