Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Haven’t bought anything in awhile. Been on a selling spree…thought I’d justify that with this I won on the big auction site. Sellers photo. It’s a custom Norfolk in vintage Remington bone. Kinda excited to see this one. Never handled any old rem bone before. View attachment 1596958
Like that! Looking forward to you showing more of it too, do you know who re-handled it?

Regards, Will

Not a folder, but I have a classic styled french trade knife on order that will show up eventually, can't wait!

73 in rosewood inbound. 73 Remington should be coming soon as well. Might need to find another hiding spot as under the sink is getting crowded 😂

Marbles MR409 Hawkbill "G.I. knife". An Warranty Replacement for the pre-Marbles branded one I have that suffered a busted back spring.
(busted knife shown New knife has a Marbles blade etch, but otherwise the same.)

I don't know when, how, or why the spring broke. It's been untouched, in my cigar box, blade closed, for about three years.

The whittler-puukko is by Juha Perttula. He is a metallurgist with a doctor's degree by profession. The blade is twice heat treated, with spring temper back and very hard edge. This should be interesting to test and use. I like the simple lines and the finger guard, allthough Finnish knives usually don't have guards.
How is the whittler-puuko from

Juha Perttula doing?
