Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Sounds like you're just getting warmed up! :D

I just ordered a Case Tiny Trapper in stag... my keychain knife inspired me to get another small knife in stag. These are seller's pics

Wow, that’s a pretty little knife hornetguy! 😎👍

Shortly after Camillus closed in 2007, a bunch of odds and ends and seconds hit the marketplace as everything was sold off. I purchased a few. One of them was a Remington Bullet knife in 0170-6C alloy steel.

I've always liked that knife, despite the color of the handles and despite the fact that it's a second with a lock bar which does not set flush in the closed position. The handle and balance are superb, and the blade shape itself is gorgeous. Camillus made versions of that pattern for Cold Steel as well as for Remington.

A few weeks ago I came across a vendor who was selling a 1990 stainless version of that model. If memory serves, in 1990 Camillus had not yet switched to 420HC and was still using 440A. (I'll have to contact Phil Gibbs and see what he remembers about the timeline.)

I said all that to say that today I pulled the trigger, and this is on its way to me:

Does some black palm scales to handle the RGR sheath knife in count ?

The kit I ordered is " our choice " as far as handle material, and it seems walnut is the most likely to be received.

If I get something else that's really nice looking the one I don't go with will br great for something else, but if I get walnut ( already have some ) I'm gonna be wishing I had just bought the blade alone and saved some money.

I've been wanting a Case "33" frame for a long time, but all I ever see is the 6233 small pen with brown synthetic covers. Yesterday I found a 6333 small stockman with pocket worn old red bone covers on sale and with free shipping, so I ordered it. I like small knives and at 2.625" this will fit right between my 52154W tiny trapper (2.38") and my 6327 small stockman (2.75").

I didn't expect to buy this, and I already have one. Who knew I'd get it for minimum bid? I'll try to find some clear acrylic to replace the celluloid over the paper
[Sorry, the picture won't stick. It's a Kutmaster 4-blade stockman advertising Northrup seed.]
