Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

I've got a Mora #1 (with the 4" blade) on the way from amazon. Can't wait to get to using it.

Cheers,
Connor

Grohmann R360S :) I'm pretty new to knives and this forum, but I thought I'd treat myself to something other than my SA soldier as an EDC. Never seen Grohmann being mentioned at all at this forum (lurked around a lot lately).

New to traditional knives but I think I am hooked now. I have a stag and Damascus Canoe coming as well as a Canal Street Cannitler

I seriously have no idea where to begin. Money is tight this year. Doesn't mean I won't be ordering a few knives. I'm getting a Kephart from Scott Gossman and another Kephart from ML Knives. I'm definitely going to be ordering the Case annual Bose collaboration, in either bone or ebony scales. I'd like to see what Queen offers for their Schatt and Morgan Heritage line, if they even do it this year. Anything in the Case Bose line with CV steel is high on the list, I sent an email to Case in regards to offering more CV options. I've been looking at the notorios Bay for two discontinued knives, a Cold Steel Ozark Hunter and Gerber Silver Knight. I haven't seen any of the Ozarks, but the Silver Knights are out there. I talked to a dealer at a local gun show the weekend before Christmas about barrel knives, and just saw a thread about them in here, and have kindled a renewed interest in finding one. Depending on what the forum knife is, I'd like to get that. Choices and first world problems, you know?

Of course, Great Eastern preys heavily on my wallet. You'd think my mania would be sated with the 2012 forum knife, and two of the Tom Sawyer barlows. Nope. My want list specifies as follows, and I quote:

Ben Hogan lockback, Missouri Trapper, Missouri Trader, Huck Finn Boys knife and boys jack, and last but not least a pioneer jack pattern.

Well, at least I'm not looking for specific handle materials :foot::D:confused::eek:.

Funds however dictate that the orders with Scott and Matt come first, then the Case Bose annual for this year, then the forum knife. Even then, I should be skinny as a rail and eating ramen noodles and hot dogs. Anything else on my want list, will have to wait.

Of course, there is a trading section!

Today arrived some swedish steel... no I didn´t buy a Volvo - but a basic Mora with red beech-handles and carbon steel....

It begs for getting out there in the bavarian woods....

(on wintertimes light is bad when I come home from work - and indoor pics are not really my beer)

I absolutely could not resist. I decided that I simply could not let this one slip away. It was calling to me...

A Case/Bose Coffin Jack in chestnut bone is now inbound!

Got my GEC whittler and the Sawyer Barlow in the mail today but still waiting on the 2012 forum knife to arrive

The devil made me do it, but I ordered a Byrd Cara Cara... But to temper the sin just a bit I also ordered one of those new fangled Rough Rider stockman knives with the long spey main. Photos when it comes (I'll leave the Byrd out though).

I've got a couple of Marttini fixed blades coming my way as well. I'm sure that's going to precipitate other purchases.

I moved about a month ago and misplaced my Case Large Stockman CV 6375, so I just ordered another, that way I know the one I lost will turn up so I'll have an extra!

I e-mailed the shop and my Case copperlock mini blue bone is on the way!!! Should be in my hands next week. Aargh.. this waiting is killing me.

I got two shots the Big Auction Site and in a few days there should be a Victorinox Penknife with red alox handles and a VEB SESTA (Eastern Germany made - during socialism) Jackknife with a corkscrew...

Tidioute two-blade Huckleberry Boy's knife in ebony and a Northfield White Owl with spear main blade in autumn bone on their way, plus a leather sleeve.

Two on order: Case Mini Copperlock and a Case Mini Trapper with the single Wharncliffe blade, both in Second Cut Antique Bone.

I'm really looking forward to seeing those two together.

Great avatar, by the way. :)

Thanks, that's one of our three cats, named Angus. :)

Actually TLARbb has that exact pair and has some great pics. I saw them in one of his posts and liked the looks so much I tracked them down at one of the last few dealers that seems to have any in stock. I was originally only going to get the Mini Copperlock but that single blade Wharncliffe is a nice pattern and there was only one left in stock, so I knew if I didn't get it now I'd regret it later.

I was lucky enough to pick up a 2000 Case / Bose Trapper off the exchange yesterday, pretty excited for my first real traditional.. (not counting old saks / moras)
