Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

Thanks, that's one of our three cats, named Angus. :)

Actually TLARbb has that exact pair and has some great pics.

Ah, okay. I didn't go back to reference his. And also mis-read Mini Copperlock as Mini Copperhead the first time through.

Let's pretend I said, "Wow, TLARBB's knives look so good, in that pattern and with those covers; I can understand why you went for it and can't wait to see yours" instead.

Angus is looking fine, anyway!

Just ordered my first Laguiole knife with carbon steel ... I´m really looking forward getting it :)

Just bought my first Opinel yesterday.
Not too sure what to expect, but at 14$, I'm not too scared.
I got a #6. I wanna be able to EDC it loose in pocket, so I went a bit small.

I have a Vic Daypacker on the way.

Bladeboss, I've never owned an Opinel either, but I'm very interested based on all the good things that I've heard. Next time I have a little money to spend, I may have to pick one up.

Whew, tell ya what, it's been a trick trying to get that Case Mini-trapper (#25806) I mentioned earlier. I've ordered it from two places so far who showed it in stock on their web sites only to e-mail me apologizing and refunding my money. On my third try now, hopefully this one will come through! The Mini Copperlock is confirmed on the way, though.

I have another Voos Barehead jack coming. I have a GEC Hound Tooth in red bone and I ordered a Higonokami to support the victims of the earthquakes in Japan.

2 Remington Year knives: R4466 Muskrat 1988 and the R4356 Bush Pilot 1993.

I really like those EO Jacks also. I only have one a 4 line Camillus.

My first Laguiole I´Aiglon arrived today... and my first french-made Laguiloe at all. I´m surprised about its dimensions (always thought they were smaller)
Maybe I gonna make a short review about it (after some sharping)

Next to a pretty unique working knife from the german/belgium border-area. A so called "Lierenaar". It´s a pretty rustic looking knife with a leaf-shaped blade and it has a pretty strange, but useful working backlock. Made by Robert Herder, Solingen, Germany.

Nice looking Laguiole there Andi, and that lierenaar is an interesting looking knife too. I'm curious as to its construction.

Thanks Duane. I gonna make a review about the Lierenaar as soon as possible. Means - when I get home from work earlier so that I can catch some natural light. But in general - it´s a friction folder design with beech handles... ;)

A Case Sway Back Jack, cayenne bone scales, on the way:

I really like that, the shield looks pretty good on there too. Does that come with CV blades? I don't like having multiples of a pattern, but that one looks really good. I think I almost bought a cayenne bone model, but went with my chestnut bone SBJ instead.

Silenthunter: As far as I can remember are the cayenne bone not sold in CV steel, it should be stainless.
