Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

And a burgon & ball mushroom knife; my first mushroom knife and my first Sheffield knife.

Thinking about a Douk-douk...
Just ordered a Thiers Issard Basque yatagan knife with buffalo horn handles.

Still awaiting that darned mushroom knife...

Ordered my first opinal yesterday a number 8 carbon with beech handle. Strangely excited and don't know why. It's not like its some great one off custom.....

So you really did order one! I wasn't entirely sure if you were serious or not in the other thread. Good for you! It might come a litle dull, but it will sharpen up easily and get very sharp. Use it in the kitchen; use it for outdoorsy stuff; have fun with it.

After seeing the wharncliffe blue bone Case Copperhead, well, I couldn't resist and snatched one up :D

I had a few "what the heck" bids up on an unnamed auction site this weekend, fully expecting to maybe win one of them. Unfortunately I won FIVE of them. Oops. Oh well, at least they were all knives I wanted at bargain prices.

This thread is something anti college budget. They had me looking at a wharncliffe mini on another page. Hehe, I guess this one is the Opinel area for the moment :)

Pretty much done with folders (except if a NW Scagel turns up) looking a ML Knives now

Kephart and hudson bay being top of my list...

I just got an email from a retailer that the GEC Farm & Field & Fish are on his website. I ordered up one with the Knifebrite scales. This will be my first GEC, and I'm anxious to get it and get back out on the water.

Found a Queen Mountain Man lock back in Birdseye Maple on a retailer's back shelf. I've thought about getting one of these for years. I decided the time was right.

I've looked on the net and I've tried photographing my own dogleg jack, but that birdseye maple is hard to capture. I've yet to see a picture that looks the same as what the dogleg handle looks like in my hand.

Getting the slip-joint collection off to a start. The following are in-bound:

Nothwoods Indian River Jack
Queen Heritage 1 Blade Jack
Canal Street Half Moon Trapper
GEC Houndtooth

Found this, a Karesuando Nallo lockback and ordered it. Steel is Sandvik 12C27, blade lenght 63 mm so this a small lockback. There is an 80 mm version available, if I find this too small. Edit: the screws might make this a non-traditional, but still it is a lockback and needs two hands to open. I like the long pull on the blade. Might this be made to Karesuando by EKA knives?
