Haven't bought any for awhile so I was overdue :D

German Eye half Congress in brown bone, and something new from Schatt & Morgan, a SXM Gentlemen's stag two bladed Barlow. The Schatt gentlemen's series are Peanut sized knives, so I can't wait to have a Peanut sized Barlow!!!

I've got a Northfield 73 in cocobolo on its way... probably gonna pull the trigger on something in stag this week as well.

Here is one from Rick that is due to arrive soon (the ivory one), I can't wait. More pictures to follow.

Thanks, Todd2006-02-06 14.49.20.jpg2006-02-06 14.49.20.jpg2006-02-06 14.49.20.jpg

Got a Schrade Heritage Barlow on the way and finally landed a Case 6292 in CV with red bone for a good price. Its a newer vintage (99 I believe) but I'm still excited.

I've got a RR utility and a drop point hunter on order. My Schrade USA drop point hunters, PH1 & PH2 just arrived this morning. I can't wait to play with and fondle them. :)

I just ordered a sodbuster in O1 with tan and brown layered micarta scales from Buzek. It won't be here for a while but I am excited to get it!

Jason, frankly I believe you will be unhappy with the knife, and should sell it to me to save yourself the trouble. Just go ahead and forward the box to me when you receive it. PM me for address. :D I was going to be ALL over that one before you snagged it. Or you can trade it to me for my Wilkins Mini Grip. ;)

Haha!.. I might do it for the Joe Allen EZ Open Jack! :D

All joking aside, that EZOpen Jack by Joe Allen is a beauty!

To get back on topic, I will be receiving a 72 mini lockback hunter hopefully soon.

(see post above for pics) I've got 3 on order:

#66BJM - Cocobolo

Beaver toothpick - jigged Cherry

Conductor - Blood Red Jig Bone

Got 'em in. Man, I love that Conductor. I really liked my Buck 303 and the Conductor is about the same size, thinner (2 spring vs 3), and way more of a looker. For some reason, that size is very handy to me. I had never seen a conductor live before and imagined something a bit larger. I was blown away to see that it was the perfect size and the color/look of the blood red jigged bone.

The Beaver Tail toothpick is very nice. Opens easy & the jigged cherry is a nice look for that knife. Feels great in the hand. I might have to keep my eyes open for some more Beaver Tails as time passes.

The #66BJM was just kinda - eh. I like the novelty of the etched Bullwinkle on one of the blades and that will be a nice piece to carry and show Grand kids. But the feel and the blades were just so-so. I probably would have been more enthusiastic if I had not received the Conductor on the same day. But the cocobolo wood was nice. It is one of my favorite handle materials and looks nice on the knife. I doubt that it will get much use, though, as I am more likely to carry my Western Outlaw (which I love) and the two are quite similar in many ways.

Anyhow, Christmas in August today. Love, love, love the Conductor. :D
