A GEC #15, single clip blade and ivory bone covers, should be here around Christmas, thanks Chris (CJZ).![]()
Novelty Colonial brand knife, described as likely from the late 1960's/early 1970's. New/old stock that will likely have some green tarnish on the automobile shaped handle, so a bit of cleaning will likely be needed. At $10 total for the item and it's shipping, I won't exacty be too hurt if this gadget is not for me, but hope for it to clean up well enough to add it to the collection (leg knives I have, but not car knives, lol!)

I succumbed to a thread here and got me a Fallkniven Gentleman's Pocket Knife, an interesting mix of traditional and modern features. The build quality is superb and boy did it come sharp! It bit me when I got it out to show my brother-in-law yesterday. He's a hobbyist blacksmith and was curious about the laminated blade steel.
We have a nice thread on Whatcha Totin' ?
since I have an inbound beauty, I thought I'd start one on
Whatcha got on Order?
And mine is a pretty sleek looking Great Eastern Cutlery folder
Model #12 a Northfield folder called a Powder Horn with burnt stag scales,
they make a similar one that's called a Toothpick, with just one blade,
the Powder Horn has two blades and the main blade's profile, to me,
is a pretty nice looking clip point blade.
HOPEFULLY this will land here this week, as I travel again next Tuesday
to a small town called Argos IN, I hear tell there ain't a lot around that
part of the state, small town.
ONCE I have mine in hand, I'll update the Whatcha Totin'? thread

My buddy emailed me last week and told me he found 2 of these in almost like new shape. He was keeping one for his ALOX collection and he was saving the other one for me.
This friend has been instrumental in helping me rebuild my SAK collection after the fire....I can never fully repay him for his patience and kindness!!!
So, I will soon have a Victorinox 93mm ALOX Solo on the way!

This will complement my more recent SAK silver Solo. A 93mm ALOX Solo is like a Pioneer but with only a single blade and no keyring....very thin and very sturdy. This one is an example of the later run of Red Solos and has the Vic SSR tangstamp.
That is a great score!
