  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Whatcha listnin to oo oo?

If you have not checked pre CFH Pantera particularly Phils debut-Power Metal please do so. When I was more a douche than I am today I wouldn’t give this much attn but these days its hard to deny the skill set, Phil and Dime are simply incredible. A shame Phil didnt take better care of himseld. Granted the herion era produced some bangers.

Busy day at work so on go the noise canceling headphones. Listening to Metallica albums "Master of Puppets" along with "And Justice For All".

Their new album sucks, imo. They're not hungry anymore; they lost their drive and their edge is gone. Kirk Hammet's solos all seem like afterthoughts. It makes me sad to watch/listen.

Well yea when you’re listening to two of the greatest bangers ever anything else Metallica after is meh 😝

They’re old asf and were during death magnetic in 2008 but man that album really got me into em again at that time. They are the goats.

For me, it has nothing to do with listening to those albums. I'm not comparing the latest album to previous ones. If I did that, every album would fall short of Master of Puppets.

I'm a big Metallica fan and loved almost all their music. They were why I learned to play guitar. I actually taught myself from their music, got a couple music scholarships, etc. I used to play lead guitar and had a lot of their songs memorized. Gave guitar up a while ago though.

I like every album they've done except St. Anger and 72 seasons. St. Anger was a bad experiment during a lot of inner turmoil in the band and their follow-ups to that were good. 72 seasons is just.....bland in my opinion. It seems really flat and boring.

That's just my opinion though.
