Whatcha listnin to oo oo?

I have no idea how many of you geriatrics have been alive long enough to remember the 80's band, "a-ha".

Beyond that, I have no idea how many of you remember the "B-side" song, "The Sun Always Shines on TV"...

*If you don't know what a "B-side" is, it has to do with a 45 RPM...

...Nevermind. Just move-along. :(

THIS goes out to my Mom.

She's 83yo, weighs 80 pounds, is bedridden and locked in a fetal position, and is slowly dying from Alzheimer's.

For me, she was ALWAYS a virtual "jukebox" of 50's, 60's, and 70's music...and gifted me my LOVE of "music"... ❤️

Back during the Civil War, I was a lowly "Peace Officer" (*"L.E.") here in South Texas. I used to work various "Honky-Tonks" to make ends meet.

Many times, I worked the door at "Gruene Hall" (*If you know, you know) and was, oftentimes, responsible for getting "the Talent" up on stage. Man, I worked "The Mavericks", "Junior Brown", "Steve Wariner", etc.

I can't tell you how many healthy cowgirls that I ran-off from Hal Ketchum's tour bus, all while trying to get his ass up on stage.

R.I.P., Hal. I miss you, Brother... ❤️
