I certainly remember that movie.

Once I told my son that we enjoy listening to "long hair" music occasionally and he seriously asked "like the Beatles ?" I laughed, then told him of guys like Beethoven, Bach, etc. 🤣
 
Talk about a guy who had a TROUBLED life...Marvin Gaye.

He married Barry Gordy's Sister, out of a sense of obligation, I imagination. He then fell madly in love with Tammi Terrell, a "Motown" singer with whom he'd recorded several popular hits.

In 1970, Tammi Terrell died of brain cancer.


In 1984, he intervened in an argument between his Parents, and was shot dead by his own Father...one day before his 45th Birthday...



 
I feel so lucky that I got to see Godflesh on Friday night. There was a bunch of us old, gray haired, tattooed idiots there. Warmed my heart. I've seen Justin Broadrick perform live before but I believe that was as Jesu.

 
I've been wanting to post this. Blues Blues finally pushed me over the edge, today.

Meatloaf was a true PERFORMER. If you ever had the pleasure of seeing him LIVE, you'd know what I'm talkin' about. The first YouTube comment, on the below vid, says it all.
