Tensegrity Tensegrity

I have a pretty great collection of hundreds of old time Delta blues recordings remastered on CD from back in the day. I think I got some of that old Mississippi mud in my veins.

imnsho, Junior Kimbrough never got the recognition he deserved. He should be up there with the best of the old timers. He has a mesmerizing sound.

(I've been fortunate enough to see some of the old guys like Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, B.B. King (a couple of times), back when. )

I think "Delta" 3V must've been spawned at the crossroads of HWY 61 and HWY 49 in Clarksdale, MS. Lord only knows what Nathan had to give up in exchange...

Sonny Boy Williamson (II), is one of my all-time faves.

If you haven't checked out the recent album 'Delta Kream' by the Black Keys, I'd recommend it. It's all Junior Kimbrough covers (like their earlier album 'Chulahoma'), and they brought in Kenny Brown and Eric Deaton for lead guitar and bass. It's quite well done, imo.
