glad to see im not the only one that still has a gen 1 iphone lol

what am i packin?
knife: spyderco honeybee  , yes that is it. darn college rules

That sucks man, when I was at Michigan State I never paid attention to the university knife rules. I don't think they were any different then the state laws. But then again I studied Forestry and I can remember at least 3 classes that required a pocket knife, and by required I mean it was listed in the required materials next to the text books. Also I loved hanging out at the Natural Resource building as everybody in there had some form of knife clipped in there pocket.

in my pockets:
kershaw blur
lighter
school id
USA Gold cigarettes
iphone

in my bag:
canon 5d mark II and lenses
-memory cards, tripod, batteries, ect. for camera
moleskin
phone charger
leatherman
bag of toiletries (tooth brush/paste, deodorant, ect.)

wish i could put that i have a ESEE knife in the mix but that will be coming soon, as soon as the school year is done and I can get a job :)

Off to work this morning and I'll be carrying all of this

The only thing that changes is that I carry either the Izula or RC3 and the Zippo or Bic but other then that it stays pretty constant.

This is just my work carry, I carry a different setup when I am not working

Edit: Today I will be packin the RC-3 and the Zippo

Today i am carrying my izula, a zippo, a CRKT M21 SF, a silver kubotan, my blackberry and a SOG EOD Power assist.

Where the heck do you guys carry your izula? Do you bring a bag with you everywhere you go? If you keep it in your pocket, when you pull it out, does it come out with the sheath on it?

It seems like a pain to carry.

I love this setup. I don't even have an Izula, but am tempted to buy one just for this knife/sheath system.

I wonder how hard it would be to make one of these for the HEST. I have been trying to find the best way to carry that since I received it, and would really dig something like this.
Hmmmmmm......

Yeah...........i work in an office.......that just wouldn't work. I wish I could carry it everyday. That would be sweet. As soon as the folder comes out I will be all over it. Those are some sweet looking pants for your Izula!

Out of sight out of mind, office is easy :) hide in your bag for an emergency!

What I carry really depends on my proximity to my truck. When I am in someone else's vehicle I feel lost.

But, I always have on me:
Phone
Wallet
Keys
Knife
Lighter
Ring
Watch
Necklace(havent had it off for more than a few hours in 8 years)

But, we have heard, "you are always prepared or never prepared" and I try to keep that in mind.

Today my blade is an Izula behind my wallet.

Ummmmm......ever hear of a belt?

;)

I've also carried mine in a knivesshipfree pocketsheath. Slip it right into my back pocket. Don't even know it's there.

i hate having things in my pocket so i tend to be in the minimalist side...i especially hate coins. i tend to use my debit card for everything so i don't have coins jiggling in my pocket...anyway pics.

my bare bones edc which consists of:
- thinnest wallet i could find and it only holds my driver's license, firearms id card, nra card (i carry it to freak out the sheeple), a credit card, aaa card, and a few bills.
- key to my 4runner.
- victorinox plain edge trekker
- countycomm split pea lighter.
- iphone
- lmf. i bring it mostly to amuse myself...me like sparkies! lol.

my messenger bag edc which i take to work or if i'm running errands or so i leave it in the car. it contains:
- laptop (not pictured)
- lunch, energy bars & water bottle (not pictured)
- whatever book i'm currently reading
- contact lens cleaner. they charge $10 for the freaking pocket size but only $7 for this 6-month supply. go figure! so i just bring the big bottle with 1/4 full.
- flask which may or may not contain my favorite happy fluid  :D
- metal can which contain more survival gear. see details below.

messenger_bag_edc.jpg

my metal can edc contains:
- gerber evo jr. i usually just edc folders so as not to freak out the sheeple too much into calling the cops on me. i do have my camping gear and a few fixed blades in the trunk though.
- 25' orange 550 paracord
- 25' black 550 paracord
- wetfire
- plain old cotton balls
- fatwood
- whistle
- countycomm pea lighter (about twice as big as the split pea lighter)
- led light
- can opener
- lmf
- alcohol wipes

i should throw in a button compass there and i can use it as a bare bones hiking gear.
