Taking an idea from another forum, I'm always looking for a good book to read. Here's a pic of one of my all time favorites that I'm reading for the 20th time. I'd appreciate some suggestions from the herd as I haven't read something "new" in a while. Been reading a lot of Lee Child's Reacher books and just read the last one...
Please post a pic of your favorite XM and a good book recommendation!

I love to read. My favorite probably being biography's. I also enjoy some good books on theology. Are you a fan of fiction?

Some of my favorite fiction authors are

John Grisham / Law, Crime

Dean Koontz / He does a lot of different ones, thrillers and a little bit of Sci fi

John Standford / He is by far my favorite fictional writer. He does some great Thriller crime novels. The "prey" series has over 20 books I believe.

Jeffery Archer is also a great writer, you might of heard of, Cane and Able, and the sequel, The Prodigal Daughter. Both amazing books. Big business type with a little bit of political undertones.

Let me know your fictional reading preference, and I can suggest some more to your liking.

I do like Fiction! Preston and Child, Lee Child, Sci-Fi, I'm on book 7 of the Gunslinger Novels by Steven King, but I'll read just about anything. Have you read the Holographic Universe by Talbot? Science, Autobiographies of Rock Stars, Philosophy, business (just read the Medici Effect). Keep 'em comin!!!

Murakami, Haruki - Kafka on the Shore is on the Kindle app now. Almost finished, then i think i'll go pick up the hard copies of the Game of Thrones series. I miss going to books a million or borders(rip) on the weekend and browsing about. Now i get to enjoy import cost :barf:

I've been enjoying the Game of Thrones shows on HBO. Are the books well written? It would be nice to get a little deeper into these characters heads and motivations....

Keep 'em coming! This is great. Getting some good ideas for what to put in the que!

I read the Foundation Trilogy every couple years. The epitome of sci-fi. You may want to try Macroscope, by Piers Anthony. Hard sci-fi, breathtaking and the author foresaw the internet by years, albeit on a larger scale. Those are my two favs.

I also recommend the Magus by John Fowles, another mind-blower.

I've been reading Somerset Maugham's Ashenden short stories. Based on his own intelligence adventures around the first WW.

Added to the top of the que!!!!!!!!

Don't have a pic of my XMs with it, but give William Forstchen's One Second After a read. It'll scare the crap out of ya.

Another couple of books I highly recommend (non fiction this time) Happiness is a Serious Problem and Think a Second Time both by Dennis Prager.

Also, for some real intense stuff give Gerald Schroeder's The Hidden Face of God.

And of course, the Bible... we should all read that more.

the show is faithful to the books-it doesnt leave much out as far as I have read.

oh I'm reading Master Mariner by Montserrat-

Last book I read was "Fearless" the story of Adam Brown. Amazing story of a man's journey to Seal Team Six.

I'm thinking of writing one. It'll be a "How to Book" just haven't mastered the subject matter.
It'll be how to keep Morons off of a Knife Forum.
I'm looking forward to it.

We all are Rubi. A collection of moronic threads would be quite entertaining....
