What'd you score in the AlaskaGanzaaaaaa?

2 rodent 9's. The 511's must have gone super fast. I requested a couple and sent my email within 1 minute of the GO, but did not score any 511's
 
Only could afford one, and got myself the 18a, my first choice (and my first Busse)!

It looks like the pictures are down. What was 18a? Oh and congrats on your first Busse! Welcome to the madness.
 
So I am thinking Thursday was going to be the notification day and I see this thread - my heart sunk as I had not received an email. Well, as it turns out, I had received a sweet love note from Amy with the lucky number. Seeing as it is a holiday, I am lounging around and my skivvies are not equipped for IWB Blackberry carry! So....... I did check and OMG!

I am honored and excited to have scored 22A - NMSFNO. This was the lust blade that drove me to this forum and Busse just recently. Though a beautiful blade this will be used. A hearty thanks to Jerry, Amy and the Busse Tribe...... quit working so hard on a holiday.
 
I scored a RMD variant too:) and the 511. I already got in on the Rodent 9, at the pre release:)

Very nice!!! The NMSFNO is quite a blade!! It's probably my favorite Busse. My SFNO LE is close because it is so damn comfortable, but I don't use it so the scale tips to the NMSFNO. If I don't use the SFNO LE soon, it's going on the exchange. I'm not down with safe queens.

I can't wait to see pictures!

What a nice surprise to find the response to my Ganzaa stake-out posted so quickly. I was prepared for a long wait until Thursday.

Think I did well for my first Ganzaaaa: Scored a 14A Game Warden variant. It was my first choice, second to the rodent 9 (which I'll likely pick up at a later date with a little custom option goodness) and really all I could afford.

Do they usually let you know the specs on the blades and scales at a later date, or should I just ask directly? I don't know what the scales are on that 14A, just that they look awesome.

Nice voracious! That's pretty awesome! Congrats on your scores. It seemed like everyone scored what they wanted.

Flying Guillotine: Eric said that black on black is what is planned to be offered, with the possibility that colors will come later on. I'm thinking that to get all of the 11 series out, the customization options will be limited. Who knows though. All I know is that I'd much rather a Jungle Green Rodent 9.

I ordered the Rodent 9 through the Ganza thinking it was ready to ship and that it would be a little cheaper through the Ganza since the price was listed as "......."

Since I scored one too the scales may look quite different than those in the pic. I bought a green bone SAr 3 one time in a Ganza and the one I got wasn't exactly the same in color, shade, and grain.
 
I scored a 511,really wanted to go for the R9 but times have been horrible the past couple months.
 
Well I did things kinda backward. I've wanted a Team Gemini for a while and I ordered a TG kydex sheath from Al Welke several weeks ago. On a fluke, I figured I would try the Ganza since I haven't done one yet. I got the email this morning; now I'll have a knife for the sheath!! Congrats to all.

Nice score man! That blade is GORGEOUS!!! A great price too. I had considered that one too, but have no practical need for a blade w/ dual guards. If I was in the military, a TG would be my first choice.Alaska18.jpg
