Sorry for all the newbie questions, but I'm new to Busse. Is this similar to the Battle Mistress? That was originally going to be the first Busse I was going to buy.

Quite similar. They both have bldes about 10" long and 2" wide, and they're similar in shape. A far as I can tell, he most noticeable difference is that the FBM has the talon hole and a full choil while the Mountainmandu doesn't have the talon hole and is more like a half choil (if that's even a thing).

Also, the original Mountainmndu was made with SR77 steel, while Battle Mistresses were all INFI, until the Battle Grade version in SR101 came this year. If Jerry has said what the new Mountainmandu is going to be made of, I haven't seen it yet.


ETA: And the diferent handle. As SOULRACK223 pointed out, the Mountainmandu has the Ratmandu-style handle, while the FBM has the fusion-style handle.
