Sigs are great and so are the Colts. What I carry is a Glock 19, relatively inexpensive,
lightweight, and accurate.

mmmm...favorite for what?

For CCW it would have to be my Heckler & Koch P-7M8

For NRA Action Pistol I built this 38 Super myself using Caspian slide and frame

For Steel competitions I prefer my Briley built Strayer Voight for the extra mag capacity

And last my sentimental favorite is my graduation present from my Dad, a C serial numbered Colt in .45

H&K USP 40...Full size

Here is my USP in 40S&W, needless to say I don't shoot it much anymore...lol. Back when the cartridge was first introduced Accurate Powders thought Accurate #5 would be an ideal powder for reloaders. Turns out it wasn't, tho mine is the only USP that did this there were numerous Glocks that blew up using that powder. You can read about it here: http://www.thegunzone.com/glock/tapioca.html

If I could consistently hit a paint can at 25 yards with my own Ruger MK I standard, it would see a lot more use. :(

Still it should be noted it often accompanies me when doing work in the woods. It is a great noise maker though and great for scaring the groundhogs. :)
