Wenger Standard Issue, Shrade Large Stockman (carbon or stainless) Opinel #7 (carbon). I could lose all the rest and be relatively content with any one of these three.

Although I also have lots of favorites, for the last few weeks I have been edc'ing a spyderco endura clipit. Use it almost every day for cutting but can't seem to dull the blade. VG-10 is a great steel!

Lots of variety here. For me it is my Spyderco C-48 Wegner plain edge. Something about this knife speaks to me and dressing 5 caribou without re-sharpening or even re-steeling is a pretty good side benefit as well.

I like the way it opens with a thwack! and the solid feel in the hand. The blade shape to me is perfect for big game and well usable for all around use.

For favourite fixed blade I own a lot, and have made over a dozen knives now but my favourite is the good old Grohmann original flat grind. The stainless is only a fair stell but easy to sharpen and this little fella has great ergonomics and is a great slicer. very usable as a hunting knife and my favourite camping/canoeing design.

I have some Blade-Tech lites coming and will be interested in how they compare.
