How hard is it?Testing flexibility of fillet knife...
It is about 56 Hrc. I don't have hardness meter so I only guess it from material list and tempering chart. I prefer flexibility over hardness on this type of knives. How hard is it?
Who makes that grinder?I just received my third grinder! Two of them have the tilt base and all have 3 HP motors.
This one will mostly be equipped with the surface grinder attachment, which I use a lot. It's a heavy contraption to mount and unmount all the time, so this will certainly speed up my process. Happy times!
I run it on the a VFD with a rotary cam switch together with my disc grinder and buffer. The other two grinders run together on another VFD.

That is a very nice looking blade. You might want to keep that one when the knife is finished. Good work. Larry
It’s from Nick Argy in Greece.Who makes that grinder?

I have one of the larger F1 V3 50x2000 and two of the F2 50x2000 with horizontal stands and most of his accessories.
I’m very happy with them. They’re not as fancy as some other new grinders on the market. But they are heavy, robust and track perfect.
I need to do something like that. You pulled the control panel from the VFD and ran CAT whatever from one box to another?
