I know what you mean, some of them just have to be kept. I started making them for friends, some of whom pay me which helps with the separation anxiety.

Getting close to finishing this set.

I've been trying for a while now to design a decent looking Wharncliffe or sheep's foot. This one is 3/32" s90v , hollow ground on my 12-in wheel! There's just something so useful about a sheep's foot but most of the designs I see are very ugly! This one's still a little ugly to my eyes but I'm getting there I think!
Edit to add: the third picture down is before I ground that little concave section near the tip on the spine!

What do you use a sheeps foot for? I have one in my kitchen, and honestly, i struggle finding a reason to reach for it. Other knives always seem to feel "better" for any given job...

Perfect for slicing open a bag of chicken feed or dog food , great for opening boxes , good for cutting leather...any time you need to score something!
