I fully appreciate that these serrations are ground to optimize performance for right handed use. Well done David!

Yesterday - AD15 is not drop shutty until you shake it closed, and hard to control with a bandage on your index finger tip. Somehow had my ring finger still wrapped around the handle while using thumb and middle finger to operate the lock.

I love that EDChef, but the two smaller re-manufactured kitchen knives that just arrived will do fine! Pics to follow in photo thread soon.

I love the chef too, doubt I'll ever get to use it. No doubt the wife and daughter will both claim it. I'm sure it'll be a staple this summer. Took a little over a year but I have traded mechanic work for a couple 4 wheelers and have them pretty well good to go for the summer. It'll be a summer of trails and campfire cooking, the chef will earn every bit of patina it gets.

I bought a kit blank from Premium Knife Supply in 2015. It is 9Cr14MoV which is a decent budget stainless for custom knives. I dragged my feet. I started working on it in 2020 or 2021.

Between then and a few weeks ago I had gradually reground it, put a handle on and finally sheathed it.
