What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

Turned into a full on shop clean up. Which means I found my other MagnaCut toothpick that is actually meant for the job I used my other other one for yesterday.

Also refinished my 8670 bullion to a fine satin and cleaned off most of the red rust from my putty knife.

That gorilla glue white was done anyway. The cap was toast and it was getting to be a struggle to squeeze any glue out.

Speaking of toasted caps, the lepage cap was a horrible design. So I dumped the rest of the bottle into a partial gorilla glue since they are both CA. Then mixed it with the over under and shake; result is a glue less viscous than lepage and more so than gorilla. It will come in handy for all the jobs the lepage did and experience has shown me the gorilla bottle and cap combo is a thousand times better designed.

Gorilla glue is my favorite

Far left shelf used to be where my shop hoody is hanging now but the stuff on it got covered in dust too quickly. I’ll no longer have firewood against the back wall but moved the tables with my plastic drawers and griddle left a bit so I have more room to pile it along the one side behind the wood stove. I’ll just pile it higher. Build a spot outside eventually.

Materials and wip boxes are more organized now too. Workbench is going to be a bit cluttered still but it’s a “functional clutter”. And I have new plywood work surfaces so I’ll burn the old one soon.

I can't wait till we get snow here, but in Colorado it won't start till the end of November. We need to move to the great Canadian north 😜

Nice pond view sunset btw David, I wish I could ride my bike to and from work.
